Sea turtles are immune to the sting of a box jellyfish, and by eating them, they keep tropical beaches safer for human use. It can stay underwater for 5 hours; its heart rate can slow to just 1 beat every 9 minutes, which conserves oxygen. A female sea turtle will return to the same beach where she was hatched, to deposit 60 - 200 eggs, that she buries in the sand. With a fossil record older than the dinosaurs, sea turtles today are endangered by entrapment, pollution, and poaching.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.
