Rose was the first saint from the Latin America. She was called Rose because of her great natural beauty. But Rose rejected vanity and through acts of self mortification, she devoted herself to God. It was said that she glowed with joy when she spoke of her love for Jesus. She joined the Order of St. Dominic and suffered greatly for the sake of sinners. Many miracles of healing and spiritual restoration are ascribed to St. Rose's intercession.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.
