Pascual was a humble shepherd in Spain who became a Franciscan lay brother. He worked tirelessly among the brothers as shepherd, their vegetable gardener and their cook. He was known as a compassionate friend to the poor and sick who would come to the monastery's door for food and comfort. He is associated with a generous spirit and joyful cooking.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.

Chain option comes with a 2 mm flat link stainless steel chain of either 18 , 20 , 22 inch standard length or a 18 inch chain with an extension up to 4 inches ( 22 inch total ) in length for more flexibility and a lead free pewter accent bead. Wear them with or without bead!
