First Evangelist of the Americas.

Juan Diego lived a simple live near what is now called Mexico city. As he walked to church one day, he had vision of the Virgin Mary. She asked him to tell the Bishop to build a a church on that site. The bishop asked Juan for proof. At the site of his vision, Juan found a field of flowers growing in the frozen soil. He gathered them in his cloak to bring to the bishop. When he opened his cloak, there was a glowing image of Our Lady of Guadalupe on the fabric inside. St. Juan Diego became the first evangelist of the Americans.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.

Approx. Pendant size : 3.6 centimetre height x 2.2 centimetre width. Weight : 5 grams.

Chain option comes with a 2 mm flat link stainless steel chain of either 18 , 20 , 22 inch standard length or a 18 inch chain with an extension up to 4 inches ( 22 inch total ) in length for more flexibility and a lead free pewter accent bead. Wear them with or without bead!
