Gianna Beretta Molla was a paediatrician in Italy. She was also a wife and mother. She is best known for refusing to either an abortion or a hysterectomy when she learned of complications with her fourth pregnancy. She continued with this pregnancy, even after her doctors told her that it might well result in her death. Gianna died 7 days after the birth of her fourth child, a healthy girl.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.

Chain option comes with a 2 mm flat link stainless steel chain of either 18 , 20 , 22 inch standard length or a 18 inch chain with an extension up to 4 inches ( 22 inch total ) in length for more flexibility and a lead free pewter accent bead. Wear them with or without bead!
