Patron of travellers.
St. Christopher was a powerful man who had the job of carrying traveller across a river. When a small child asked to be carried, Christopher lifted him onto his shoulders. With each step the child became heavier until Christopher thought he might drop the child, but he struggled to the other side. It was then revealed that the child Christopher carried was the Christ Child carrying the weight of the sins of the world.
The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.
