Arnold of Metz was a Frankish bishop who lived in the days when water born illnesses were common. He extolled the health benefits of drinking beers preparation killed bacteria, and made it safe to drink. He is reported to have said From man's sweat and God's love beer came into the world. Through his preaching and miracles, St. Arnold refreshed the mugs and souls of many.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.

Chain option comes with a 2 mm flat link stainless steel chain of either 18 , 20 , 22 inch standard length or a 18 inch chain with an extension up to 4 inches ( 22 inch total ) in length for more flexibility and a lead free pewter accent bead. Wear them with or without bead!
