The ring-tail is a very social primate found only on Madagascar and on the Comoros, off the southeast coast of Africa. This lemur is easily identified by its long, bushy tail, with rings of black and white fur and a tip that is always black. On chilly mornings, groups can be seen stretched out across tree limbs or sitting on the forest floor, sunbathing. Lemur society is led by females. They outrank and dominate male lemurs in all interactions within the troop.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.

Chain option comes with a 2 mm flat link stainless steel chain of either 18 , 20 , 22 inch standard length or a 18 inch chain with an extension up to 4 inches ( 22 inch total ) in length for more flexibility and a lead free pewter accent bead. Wear them with or without bead!
