Polar bears (sea bears) live on the Arctic polar ice in the U.S. (Alaska), Canada, Russia, Greenland, and Norway. Under a thick coat of all-white fur, the polar bears skin is black, which helps it to absorb the warmth from the sun. They are the largest land predators on Earth, yet as marine mammals, they spend much of their time in the sea. Climate warming and the loss of sea ice pose the greatest threat to the survival of all polar bear populations.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.
