Peregrines are found nearly everywhere on earth. Their migration is one of the longest of any North American bird. Their homing instinct leads them to favoured aeries (nesting sites), occupied by successive generations of falcons. Peregrines hunt from above and, after sighting their prey, drop into a steep, swift dive that can top 200 miles per hour. The peregrine strikes its prey with a clenched foot, stunning or killing it on impact, turning to catch it in mid-air.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.

Chain option comes with a 2 mm flat link stainless steel chain of either 18 , 20 , 22 inch standard length or a 18 inch chain with an extension up to 4 inches ( 22 inch total ) in length for more flexibility and a lead free pewter accent bead. Wear them with or without bead!
