Meerkats inhabit southern Africa. They live in highly-social family groups and communicate with over 50 different calls. Meerkats eat roots and bulbs, lizards, birds, rats, insects, and even scorpions as they are immune to scorpion venom! It takes a gang to raise a pup! All adults help with babysitting, feeding, and teaching pups to hunt. Meerkats have uniquely adapted eyes and ears that protect them as they burrow in the sand.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.

Chain option comes with a 2 mm flat link stainless steel chain of either 18 , 20 , 22 inch standard length or a 18 inch chain with an extension up to 4 inches ( 22 inch total ) in length for more flexibility and a lead free pewter accent bead. Wear them with or without bead!
