Honey bees are but one of roughly 20,000 species of bees worldwide, but they pollinate about 80% of the worlds food crops. A bees wings can beet 190 times each second, or over 11,000 beats per minute, making the characteristic buzzing sound. Karl von Frisch won a Nobel Prize in 1973 for cracking the complex language code of honey bees the waggle dance. Honeybees have five eyes; 3 on top of the head and 2 in front. They also have hair on their eyes!

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.
