The Hand of the King is the most powerful appointed position in the Seven Kingdoms, second only to the king. The Hand of the King is the Kings closest advisor, authorised to make decisions in the Kings name. He is the highest-ranking member of the small council and leads meetings of the council as proxy when monarch is absent. During the reign of strong and able kings, the hand is the chief agent for co-ordinating and a carrying out the kings plans. During the reign of weak or ineffectual kings, the hand is often the real power behind the throne and man chiefly responsible for holding the realm together. The hand is supposed to fulfil plans made by the king, but the reign of weak kings when the hand is left to clean up the political mess caused by inept rulers.

The hand of the king is formally addressed as Lord Hand and resides in the tower of the hand at the red. Keep along with his family and household.

Made of high quality excelsior pewter. Single sided design.

Approx. pendant size : 5.10 centimetre height x 2.38 centimetre at the width. Weight : 18 grams.

Black cord option comes with an approx. 36 inch or 91.44 cm cord and a (lead free) pewter accent bead with laminated ends.

Chain option comes with a 2 mm flat link stainless steel chain of either 18 , 20 , 22 inch standard length or a 18 inch chain with an extension up to 4 inches ( 22 inch total ) in length for more flexibility and a lead free pewter accent bead. Wear them with or without bead!
