Great horned owls can swallow prey whole, later regurgitating any bits of fur, bones, and other undigested body parts. Among owls, the great horned owl has the greatest variety of habitats, with a range from the Arctic to South America. Great horned owls are known to eat raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, birds, and falcons and they regularly eat skunks! The great horned owl hunts primarily at night. Its loosely packed feathers make its flight virtually silent.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.
