| Charles Rennie Mackintosh applied simple decoration, often in the form of a rose, to his designs. He believed in minimalist design, but with some limited decoration. The name Art Nouveau is French for new art. Art Nouveau was a style of distinct individuals such as Charles Rennie Mackintosh who interpreted it in their own manner. Charles Rennie Mackintosh architect, artist and designer (1868-1928) who frequently used stylised roses in his designs. The rear side of bracelet is highly polished and rhodium plated. Bracelet is made of cadmium free and nickel free base metal. Fine example of handcrafted fine vitreous glass enamelled jewellery. Each piece is fired to 760C to set the Enamel and provide these vibrant colours. The vibrant colours typify ancient Celtic art. This bracelet contains 9 Mackintosh Roses. Approx. Bracelet size : Length of Bracelet : 18 centimetre (5 centimetre chain extension) and Weight of Bracelet : 14 grams. Each individual Mackintosh Rose measures 2 centimetre in diameter.
