A dolphins dorsal fin is as distinctive as a persons face or fingerprints, allowing scientists to identify individuals. Dolphins have no sense of smell, but most have acute eyesight, superb hearing, and sensitivity to touch and taste. Signature whistles help identify individual dolphins as they socialize and converse within their pods. Dolphins form strong bonds, staying with their ill or injured, helping them to the surface to breathe if necessary.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.
