Alternative terms for cougar include puma concolor, mountain lion, mountain cat, catamount. More related to domestic cats. The largest of the small cat species, cougars are also known as mountain lions, puma, catamounts, and panthers. Cougars are solitary animals, with each cat living in a home range of 30 - 125 square miles, depending on resources. With stealth, cougars ambush their prey by pouncing on the victim at the back of its neck, delivering a fatal bite. Cougars kill their prey, bury it (often after dragging it up to 1/4 mile away), and then return later to feed from the carcass.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.
