A black panther is actually a melanistic or completely black variant of a leopard or a jaguar. The black panthers spots are faintly visible; the typical markings are masked by an abundance of black pigment. Mixed litters are common; a black panther cub may have litter mates whose colour and spot markings are normal. Black panthers can carry prey twice their weight up a tree where the meal can be devoured without any competition.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.

Chain option comes with a 2 mm flat link stainless steel chain of either 18 , 20 , 22 inch standard length or a 18 inch chain with an extension up to 4 inches ( 22 inch total ) in length for more flexibility and a lead free pewter accent bead. Wear them with or without bead!
