Its scientific name means white-headed sea eagle for the white feathers covering the head. It is not bald! Bald eagles can fly to an altitude of 10,000 feet, and can reach speeds of 30 - 35 miles per hour. Bald eagles mate for life, building their nests in trees at least 75 feet tall. A bald eagle nest is huge; it is not uncommon for the nest to be 8 feet wide and weigh 2,000 lbs.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.
