I am Artemis, daughter of Zeus. I am strong and swift. I run in the woods, wild and free, doing what I please. I am the ever-youthful female spirit of adventure; young or old, no challenge is too great for me! I am the protectors of all women and of virgin girls. I am called upon to ease the pain of childbirth. I am Goddess of the Moon and Goddess of the Hunt. Lean and muscular, beautifully athletic, the perpetual tomboy; this is the image of the Goddess Artemis. She is also a triple-moon Goddess known as Luna in the heavens; Artemis on Earth; and Hecate in the underworld. Her strong association with the moon and the corresponding lunar cycles makes Artemis the goddess of female secrets. She also has a strong solar connection because she is the twin sister of the Sun God Apollo. This in part accounts for her fiercely independent and self-sufficient nature. This balance of sun and moon, and male and female energies keeps Artemis grounded as the representation of the goddess on earth. As goddess of the Hunt, Artemis uses her moonlight vision, the ability to see clearly thorough a hazy, muted wilderness. Women who follow Artemis develop their own moonlight vision which can manifest in vivid dreaming, allowing illumination for the journey within!

Chain option comes with a 2 mm flat link stainless steel chain of either 18 , 20 , 22 inch standard length or a 18 inch chain with an extension up to 4 inches ( 22 inch total ) in length for more flexibility and a lead free pewter accent bead. Wear them with or without bead!
