In a winter coat of white fur with densely furred paws, the Arctic fox can travel 600 miles in search of food. In winter, arctic foxes often follow the trails of polar bears to scavenge leftovers from seal and reindeer carcasses. Arctic foxes den in low mounds in the open tundra, or outcroppings of rocks, with many entrances, exits and tunnels. A male arctic fox is called a reynard, and the female, a vixen. The will have 6 to 7 pups in a litter every 2 years.

The unique making process of these porcelain pendants allows for more detail in designs than other mediums. These designs are fired into the clay at 2200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off. Each piece is surprisingly lightweight.
