Edward Elric is a fictional character and the protagonist of the Fullmetal Alchemist Anime. Edward Elric is the youngest State Alchemist to be selected by the State Military of the country, receiving the title of "Fullmetal Alchemist".

This Alchemical Symbol represents the "fixing of the volatile", or making the Elixir of Mercury, a legendary curative, by removing the 'volatile' or poisonous element.

Our Cross is attributed to the Mysterious Historical figure Nicolas Flamel (c. 1327 - 1992!!!). He was a Master Alchemist and the only known maker of the Philosopher's Stone. He owed his Miraculous Age to the Elixir of Life which He and his wife Perenelle created using the Stone. They were aged 665 and 658 at their time of deaths after Flamel chose to destroy the stone in 1992.

Many seekers have come across the image of the Flamel's Cross, but most mistake it for other prominent ancient symbols... the Rod of Asclepius : the ancient Greek sign of Medicine, or the Caduceus: a Greek 2 snake symbol related to the God of Alchemy, Hermes, or the Serpent Cross: a Hebrew sign signifying Victory over the Devil.

Nicholas Flamel's story remains shrouded in mystery, but his legacy reminds us to forever believe in the impossible. When we begin to trust in the unbelievable, we open the door to endless possibilities.

Black cord option comes with an approx. 36 inch or 91.44 cm cord and a (lead free) pewter accent bead with laminated ends.

Chain option comes with a 2 mm flat link stainless steel chain of either 18 , 20 , 22 inch standard length or a 18 inch chain with an extension up to 4 inches ( 22 inch total ) in length for more flexibility and a lead free pewter accent bead. Wear them with or without bead!
